Washing Silk Fabric
You can always dry clean or hand wash in cold water.
All silk skirts are made out of 100% silk which means that you don't need to wash the skirts often, silk doesn't hold on to odor (just hang it after using and it air cleans itself...seriously!). Silk is the most breathable fabric in the world, that's why it's been around for over 3,000 years!
Hand Wash Instructions: Gently wash skirt on its own in a bucket or your tub with cold water and a few drops of any kind of shampoo. Do not soak for more than 5 minutes, rinse immediately, squeeze the water out, give a good shake and hang to dry in a shady place. Silk dries quickly and once fully dried.
Ironing: Iron the skirt on a silk setting directly on the fabric.
If you mix a cup of white vinegar in the cold water when washing, this holds the color beautifully on 100% vintage silk fabrics
